Japanese Prime Minister leaves U.S President in forest.
--Japan Today--
Taking a cue from a recent case of child punishment gone wrong in Hokkaido, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has today admitted to attempting to abandon the visiting U.S President, Barack Obama, in a Hokkaido forest.
"I tried to leave him there as punishment over his part in the atomic bombings of 1945" said Abe, in a stern, fatherly tone. "I wanted to give him a Japanese style time-out, so that he could have a wee think about just what he had done, and how he should go about apologising for it."
"Path of atonement for 1945 is long walk back to washing town."
Obama, having not understood Abe's terrible mangling of the English language at all, is said to have immediately walked out of the forest and gotten straight back into his chauffered car, where his security detail were waiting, and continued on his way.
"I thought Abe was just politely showing me a tree or something and then I turned around and he was gone" said a nonplussed Obama.
